At the Georgi

Went to to the Georgi with my wife the other day. She had heard about it from friends. It is a quiet little place in Shushan, tucked behind Yushak’s. Seriously, if you blink, you’ll miss the road. Luckily, there is a sign posted so it’s not a total mystery. We could not go in the museum since it was closed. However, we were able to stroll the grounds. A number of people were swimming in the Battenkill which borders the grounds, or lounging on the gravels beaches near the river. A few kayakers had drawn up on one of the banks for a rest, or perhaps it was too shallow to proceed. At any rate, the grounds are nice for an afternoon stroll or a picnic, and if the weather is right, for a dip in the Battenfill to cool off. Here are some pictures I took that evening.
