Secret Beach in Rhode Island

We stumbled upon this beach in Weekapaug Rhode Island while just aimlessly driving around. It was just after a massive thunderstorm that closed the state park beach at Misquamicut due to flooding. The sun had just come back out as we rounded the corner into this corner of Weekapaug and we found a little parking place by the side of the road. A few narrow paths lead down to a partly rocky beach. As you can see from the photos, there is some sand and the beach was virtually uninhabited!! What a hidden gem. I hope to get back there the next time I am in the area. Here is the Google Map link in case you want to check it out:
